Easy-to-Install Drop-in Replacement
The MLI 1102 is a perfect choice for people who want to replace traditional quarter-turn locks with electronic locks for added security. It is available in 12V and 24V configurations, and it is designed to be a direct replacement for any standard quarter-turn lock that fits in the industry standard 20.1 or smaller DD cutouts.
It is easy to install with third-party systems, using 4 wires to power on and actuate. Simply run the Positive and Ground (White and Brown) cables to your PWR and GRD terminals respectively, and the Status + and Status – (Yellow and Green) to your input terminals on your access control board. Using an additional card reader will allow you to gain access at the swipe of a card.
This device also comes with an key override which can be keyed to your liking. Lastly, for any of the larger installations, there is a mechanical override on the back of the device if you ever find yourself locked in.
Connecting the MLI 1102 to Existing Readers
If you already use The Administration Suite Software, you can easily connect the MLI 1102 to your MLE 5000 or MLU readers. Simply wire the MLI 1102 to terminals 8-11 on the MLE or MLU. The status wires should be connected to terminals 8 and 9, and the power and ground wires should go to terminals 10 and 11. This will allow you to use the MLI 1102 with your existing Administration Suite Software platform.

This outdoor-capable device has an IP65 rating, meaning it is protected against dust and water. It is also small, measuring 96mm x 21.25mm x 35mm, and can be installed on thin sheet metal (1-3mm). It is a perfect drop-in replacement for small fire panel enclosures, access control enclosures, or cabinet drawers in data centers.
